6 Web Hosting and eCommerce Affiliate Programs that Earn HUGE Commissions

Perhaps you have experience in building websites and/or selling products online.  If so, great!  I’ve hand-picked some excellent affiliate programs you can share with your readers.  These products/services are all not only highly reputable, but also pay really large commissions to you for your recommendations/referrals.

If you don’t have your own blog to promote these programs on yet, you can follow this video to create your own in less than an hour.  No technical expertise necessary!

Enjoy!

Please note: If your readers are looking to build online stores, it is better to recommend that they build their store on independent hosts like the first two you see in this list.  They can simply install WooCommerce plug-in to their site and get all of the e-commerce functionality they need.  This will generally save them money in the long run, increase flexibility, and lead to faster site speeds (crucial for conversions/sales).  You can see how I guide readers through such store/sales-page build-outs here.

1.  WPEngine Hosting

Commission:  $200 per new customer or 100% of the first month’s payment (up to $7,500!)

WPEngine Description:  “Stunning speed, powerful security, and best-in-class customer service. At WP Engine, WordPress isn’t just our platform, it’s our passion.”

WPEngine Affiliate Description: WPengine’s affiliate program is one of my personal favorites.  It is widely considered the best web hosting solution in its category.  WPEngine aggressively cache’s website content for insanely fast speeds, offers top-notch security, and provides customers with 24/7 support from WordPress experts.

2. InMotion Hosting

Commission: $150 per referral if you refer at least 3 customers per month ($50 for 1 referral/month, $100 for 2 referrals/month)

InMotion is no WPEngine by any means, but it does come in at a cheaper price to your readers.  If you refer just 3 sales/month, you will earn $150 per referral on hosting that costs your reader just $4.89/month.

I personally recommend WPEngine to my readers because it is still less than a dollar per day, and the speed/security/support is just unbeatable at it’s price.  It IS the better solution for your readers, but what you refer is up to you!  My readers need fast speeds, great security, and reliable support to succeed.  But, depending on what your readers are building, they may not need those things.  In that case, it is better for them to pay $4.89/month.  Up to you!

3.  Shopify

Shopify Description: “Nearly a decade ago we started an online store to sell snowboard equipment directly to those who loved the sport as much as us.

We could have listed our products on a number of marketplaces, but we wanted to own our brand and build relationships with our customers, along with selling our goods. Such a tool didn’t exist, so we built it for ourselves. We soon realized a number of other stores were in need of a hassle-free platform to build their retail business, and Shopify was born.

We focus on making commerce better for everyone, so businesses can focus on what they do best: building and selling their products. Today, merchants use our platform to manage every aspect of their business — from products to orders to customers, selling online, in retail stores, and on the go.”

Shopify Affiliate Description:  “When you sign up for the Shopify Affiliate Program we’ll give you a special link to Shopify that you can share through an ad, Facebook post, on your blog, a tweet – however you choose! You’ll earn income for every customer that signs up for Shopify through your link.

Per-sale commissions mean that you earn 200% of a customer’s subscription fee each time you refer someone to Shopify. You can make up to $2,400 per sale!”

4.  Template Monster

  • Hi,

I was wondering if InterServer can be added to your list. We have been providing hosting services for 16 years. We have a great affiliate program with many features others do not have such as customizable coupons and landing pages. I can offer you a demo account with some prepay money to try our hosting services.

    Thank you for considering us.

      Hi Mike,

I do not recommend discount/shared hosts to my readers at this time. I have had too many problems in the past.

      Cheers,
      Zach

  • Love the website– really user pleasant and whole lots to see!

  • Francis

    Hey Zach,

Love your stuff man. I’ve been obsessing over your video on building a dropship sales page and was wondering, is it ok to use the copywriting material of your suppliers, or is it recommended to write your own? Or paraphrase? Excited to hear what your thoughts are on this

    Regards,
    Francis

    • Zach

      Francis,

Thanks! You can use copywriting material of the supplier with their permission, but usually it’s best to write your own. It’s one of those things you will have to test and tweak over time.

Definitely don’t use the same headings or product titles. The whole idea here is to brand the product as something unique, and make it difficult to price shop.

For affiliate marketing, you are linking to their sales page. They have sales copy. What you write will be supplemental. Reviews, overviews, motivational, inspirational, instructional, etc. Or, the affiliate product may be supplemental to what you are teaching/writing.

      Cheers,
      Zach

  • Brian

    Hi Zach,

Can I know the key difference between Shopify and WPengine?

    Best,
    Brian

    • Ravi Kumar G

Shopify is an E-Commerce building platform where you can set up your online store and sell physical and digital goods from anywhere to anyplace. While WP Engine is a hosting service to host your WordPress websites. You can learn more about shopify at http://www.moneywolf.org
      Hope this helps!
